Cook spaghetti following package directions until slightly under cooked. Meanwhile, heat the olive oil in a large sauté pan over medium heat. Add the anchovy and sauté thoroughly. Add the red pepper flakes and garlic and cook until golden brown, the add the parsley. Add a ladle of the pasta water allowing the flavors to combine. Remove the pasta from the water and add it to the sauté pan. Add more pasta water as necessary to finish cooking the pasta, letting the liquid reduce as the pasta finishes cooking and forming a sauce. Season with salt and pepper and serve.
