Slow cooker sausage stuffing

ingredients:
- 1 loaf of French bread, diced into cubes and dried for 24 hours
- 1 stick of nutter, diced into pieces
- 1 large onion, diced
- 1 cup celery, diced
- 3 tbsp fresh rosemary, chopped
- 1 tbsp fresh sage, chopped
- 2 tbsp fresh thyme, chopped
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 1/2 cups chicken broth
- 1 lb ground Italian sausage
- 1/4 cup Italian parsley, chopped
Preparation:
Place the dried bread cubes into your slow cooker. On top of bread, place the diced butter, diced onion, diced celery, chopped herbs, salt, pepper, and chicken broth. Stir to combine. Evenly crumble the sausage in very small pieces over the bread mixture. Cover and cook on low for 5 hours or until the vegetables are tender and the sausage is cooked through. Add the parsley and stir and cook for 5 more minutes then serve.
