Sausage breakfast casserole
Servings: 6-8
Ingredients:
- 1 lb of cooked ground sausage
- 12 eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 tbsp ground mustard
- 1 32 oz bag shredded hash browns
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
Preparation:
In a large bowl, beat the eggs and add in the milk, salt, pepper, and ground mustard. In your slow cooker, make a layer of sausage, shredded hash browns, and cheese. Repeat the layers once. Pour the egg mixture over the layers. Cook on low for 8 hours (while you sleep!). Top with cheese before serving.
