Kalamata olive & red pepper pasta sauce

Ingredients:
- 12 kalamata olive pitted and quartered
- 1 teaspoon red pepper crushed
- 1/4 onion chopped
- 5 cloves garlic chopped
- 2 ripe tomatoes diced
- 6 sun dried tomatoes softened and chopped
- 1 tablespoon capers
- 1 pinch dried oregano
- 1/4 cup olive oil
Preparation:
Place medium sized deep saucepan over medium heat and add the olive oil to it. Once the oil is hot enough, add the onions, garlic and red pepper and sauté for about 1 minute. Now add the sun dried tomatoes, oregano and capers to this and stir everything. Cook for another minute. Now add the fresh ripe tomatoes and kalamata olives. Cover the saucepan and cook everything for about 5 minutes. Stir occasionally. Pour over your choice of pasta, toss and serve!
