Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F and line a baking sheet or two with parchment paper. In a large mixing bowl, mix together the cake mix, food coloring, oil and eggs with an electric mixer. Chill the dough for 30 minutes. Roll the dough into 1 inch balls and place on the prepared baking sheets 1-2 inches apart. Dust each cookie dough ball with powdered sugar and place a heart shaped candy in the center of each. Bake for 8-9 minutes the let cool before transferring to a wire rack to cook completely. Serve or store in a airtight container.
