Ginger and lemon water
Preparation time: 1 hour
Serves: 6 glasses
Ingredients:
- 1 sliced ginger root
- 5 liters water
- 1 lemon, juice
Preparation:
In a small pot, we add water and leave it to boil. When it boils, we add ginger in and it cook for 15 minutes. Don’t forget to stir so that the ginger will combine with all of its components. After 15 minutes, we remove the pot from the heat and allow it to cool. In a jug or a bottle, pour water and after remove ginger slices and add some lemon juice for extra flavor and additional beneficial proprieties. We can store it in the refrigerator and drink it at room temperature for 3 days. This drink apart from hydration also has other benefits for the body as it has anti inflammatory and anti cancer activity, while it regulates cholesterol levels in the blood.
