Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Spread the almonds in a even layer on the prepared baking sheet. Toast the almonds in the oven for about 10 minutes then remove from the oven and set aside. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the butter, sugar, vanilla, and salt. Whisk constantly until the butter has melted and becomes slightly brown. This in the caramel mixture. Immediately pour the caramel mixture over the toasted almonds. Sprinkle the chocolate chips over the caramel. Sprinkle the pecans over the chocolate chips. Let cook completely and then break into pieces.
