Corn chowder
Servings: 4-6
Ingredients:
- 16 oz canned whole kernel corn, drained
- 2 potatoes, peeled and chopped
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1/4 cup butter
- 2 cups milk
- 2 cups chicken broth
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp chopped parsley
Preparation:
Combine all of the ingredients except 1/2 cup of corn, butter, and milk in your slow cooker. Cook on low for 7-0 hours, then puree in a blender, food processor, or with an immersion blended and return to the slow cooker. Stir in the extra half cup of corn, butter and milk. Cook on low for another hour before serving.
