Chili beef taco lasagna

Ingredients:
- 2 pound of lean ground beef
- 2 1.25 ounce packages of taco seasoning mix
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon of cayenne pepper
- 1 tablespoon of chili powder
- 1/2 cup of water
- 18 6 inch corn tortillas
- 24 ounces jar of salsa
- 16 ounce container of sour cream
- 1 1/2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 1/2 cups of Monterey Jack cheese
Preparation:
Cook ground beef in a skillet over medium high heat. Season with the taco seasoning mix, garlic, cayenne pepper and chili powder. Simmer for about 10 minutes. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. In a 9×13 inch baking dish, place 6 tortillas on the bottom and 1/3 of the salsa on top. Put 1/2 of the beef and sprinkle 1/2 the shredded cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese. Repeat the layers on top with the remaining cheese. Bake in the oven for 30-45 minutes or until cheese has thoroughly melted.
