Wash and dry the turkey breast. Brush the breast with olive oil and sprinkle on the salt, pepper, garlic powder, and parsley. Place the chopped onion and apple into the turkey’s cavity. Place the turkey breast into your greased slow cooker, breast side up. Pour the chicken broth over the turkey. Insert a meat thermometer into the thickest part of the turkey breast. Cook for 3-4 hours or until the thermometer reaches 140 degrees F. Cook for another 2-3 hours on low until the thermometer reaches 170 degrees F. Remove the turkey from the slow cooker and place it on a roasting pan. Broil the turkey for 5-7 minutes or until the skin has browned. Remove from oven and let the turkey rest for 15 minutes. Remove the onion and apple from the turkey. Slice the turkey and serve.
